Help with your selection

Bring a sample, a cut list or a specification.

You can begin with the board you already use or the product you want to make. Share what you know, and our factory team will help you work through the remaining details before quotation.

Talk to our factory
  1. What are you making?

Tell us the furniture, cabinet, display or interior component, where it will be used and how you will finish it. Include any emission, moisture or fire requirement for your market or project. View US, EU and UK purchasing documents.

  2. Which dimensions does it need?

Specify board thickness in mm, density in kg/m³ and the sheet or finished-part dimensions. For a faced panel, agree the MDF core and complete finished thickness. Our MDF range covers 2–35 mm and six sheet formats, with product-specific availability confirmed in your quotation.

  3. Which face and processing will you use?

Send a decor reference or sample, and identify the visible face, reverse, pattern direction and edge finish. For cut or machined parts, include the cut list or drawing revision, quantities and key tolerances. HPL face sheets are available from 0.5 to 1.2 mm alongside the selected MDF core.

  4. How much do you need, and where?

Include quantity by specification, delivery destination and your required timing. Furniture factories can start with component sizes and colours; distributors can share their stock mix, planned volumes and purchasing schedule. We prepare the price, packing and production timing for that order.

Before you choose

Your MDF selection questions, answered.

Use these answers to narrow the range, then ask our team about the specification for your own production.

Should I choose raw MDF or a decorative panel?

Choose raw MDF when you plan to paint, veneer, laminate or machine the board in your own workshop. Choose a decorative panel when you want the selected surface already applied to the MDF core. Define any further cutting, drilling and edge finishing with the supplied condition you need.

How do melamine, veneer and HPL MDF differ?

Melamine MDF has a resin-impregnated decorative paper surface; veneered MDF has a natural wood veneer face; HPL MDF uses a separately manufactured high-pressure laminate sheet bonded to the core. HPL face sheets from 0.5 to 1.2 mm can be selected or customized for colour, pattern, texture and gloss. Specify wear performance and any fire classification for the selected construction. Explore HPL MDF.

Which thicknesses and sheet sizes can I order?

Our MDF range covers 2–35 mm, with six sheet formats: 1220 × 2440, 1830 × 2440, 2100 × 2800, 1830 × 3660, 2440 × 3660 and 1830 × 4200 mm. Confirm availability for the grade, finish and quantity you choose. A faced panel's finished thickness includes its surface construction. Send a cut list for smaller finished parts.

How should I specify moisture resistance or fire performance?

Describe the service environment, moisture exposure and edge or joint protection for the finished component. For fire performance, provide the required classification, test method and complete panel construction. We confirm the applicable grade and reports for the offered specification. Explore moisture and fire grades and view purchasing documents.

Can I order cut or machined MDF components?

Yes. Send your cut list or drawings with part dimensions, holes or profiles, face direction, edge finish and quantity for each part. Include the drawing revision and key tolerances. Discuss a sample or first component for your finishing and assembly trial, then use the agreed part references for production and packing. Explore cut and machined parts.

What should I send to receive a quotation?

Send the product or intended use, thickness, size, surface, quantity and destination, plus a drawing for processed parts. If you are still choosing the board, begin with your application and a sample request. Our team replies within 12 hours and helps you complete the order specification. Ask our factory for a quotation.
