Specify the actual face and reverse construction: a smooth visible face and a screen-pattern reverse should be identified separately where supplied. Hardboard is not simply a thinner version of MDF or HDF. The chosen sheet must fit the furniture design, cutting method, groove or rebate and visible finish. Can the standard MDF board sizes be ordered for hardboard?
